The Collect for Thanksgiving Day from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer of the US Episcopal Church:

Almighty and gracious Father, we give thee thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Make us, we beseech thee, faithful stewards of thy great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of thy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for all Americans on their Thanksgiving Day. We pray that through care of the land and sea, that the harvest be bountiful and that all may be able to enjoy the splendeurs of the earth. We pray for all friends and families during this time and that all may be able to break bread in comfort and security, without fear or anxiety, and that all may be able to put their trust in God and be at peace on this day.

We give thanks for the many blessings and miracles of this world and that we may continue to enjoy the beauty of this world and live in harmony with all mankind and nature, through our Saviour, Jesus Christ, who the Father and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.
