About me

I am a liberal Anglo-Catholic (High Church Anglican) living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I was raised Methodist, attended a United Church in my teens, but stopped attending church regularly during university, and fell into agnosticism. I returned to Christ after going through some tough times later in life. I found Anglicanism, especially High Church Anglicanism, connected me most with Christ. The ritualism, mysticism, and structure gave me peace. I am a bells and smells type of guy.

I prefer to use the Book of Common Prayer over the Book of Alternative Services, because of the traditional language and connection with the past.

I have a scholastic and philosophical approach to religion, but also understand that some things have no answers, so it is sometimes best not to ask questions.
